Matthew built the practice he wished existed.
He founded Homesteady Health to practice medicine without the clock and the profit-over-patient mindset of corporate care — so he can treat you by name, not by a chart.
He’s a Certified Hormone Therapist through the Academy For Advanced Women’s Health Medicine, providing expert testosterone and hormone replacement therapy alongside full primary care. Across more than 25 years he’s practiced family medicine in the Alaskan bush, worked trauma and the ER in Philadelphia, and built urgent-care clinics there — and today he serves on the board of Region 2 of the Nurse Practitioner Association of New York, which named him NP of the Year in 2025.
Matthew lives the active Finger Lakes lifestyle — running, grappling, basketball, and coaching, plus hunting, fishing, and time on Cayuga Lake. He understands the active life his patients live, because he lives it too.
