You join as a member, meet your provider, and from then on you reach care directly. Most primary care, sick visits, follow-ups, medication management, lab review, and chronic care check-ins, is handled well by video, phone, or message. When something genuinely needs hands-on attention, you come to the office.

Syracuse is one of the snowiest cities in the country, and lake-effect storms can make getting across town a real problem. On days like that, a video visit or a quick message with your own provider keeps your care on track without anyone getting in the car. When you do want to be seen in person, our office in Trumansburg is about an hour from Syracuse, an easy trip through the Finger Lakes when it is worth the drive. Being closer to Syracuse than most of the region's larger cities makes that occasional in-person visit an easy one.
Covering the big stuff too
Direct primary care is not insurance, so it does not cover major medical events like a hospital stay or surgery. Membership works on its own for everyday care, and it pairs well with an optional high-deductible health plan or health-sharing program if you want those larger costs covered too.

Under federal rules that took effect January 1, 2026, a qualifying direct primary care membership no longer blocks HSA contributions, and you can use HSA funds to pay your monthly membership fee tax-free. Membership is a flat monthly fee. Individual pricing is age-tiered, from $49/mo for ages 3 to 18 up to $129/mo for ages 59 and up, and families get built-in discounts (a couple is $174/mo). There are no copays or claims on top.
